Common Questions

What counts as movement for the day?

Whatever you decide it is. The tracker deliberately does not judge intensity or duration. A gym session, a brisk walk, a bike commute, a yoga flow, or ten minutes of stretching all count as a tap. The point is to make the bar low enough that you clear it on busy days too, because a habit you keep beats a perfect workout you skip.

How does the streak work?

Each day you log at least one movement session, your streak grows by one. Today is given grace, so an as-yet-unlogged current day never breaks the chain. Miss a whole day, though, and the streak resets to zero the next day. Your longest streak ever is kept beside the current one, so a reset still leaves you a record to beat.

Why is a streak so effective for habits?

Habits form through repetition and small rewards, and a growing streak supplies both. The visible chain of active days creates a gentle "do not break it" pull that is far more motivating than a distant fitness goal. By keeping the daily action tiny and the reward immediate, the streak carries you through the early weeks when a habit is most fragile.

Can I log more than one session a day?

Yes. Tap again for each bout of movement and the day count rises, though only one is needed to keep your streak. The minus button fixes an accidental tap. The month-long chart shows how many active days you have strung together, so you can see your consistency at a glance rather than obsessing over any single day.

What if I miss a day?

The streak resets, and that is fine. Missing one day does not undo the fitness you built, and the goal is long-term consistency, not an unbroken record forever. Restart the chain the next day and aim to beat your longest streak. Perfection is not the target; showing up most days, most weeks, is.

Is my activity data private?

Completely. Everything is stored only in this browser on this device, with no account and nothing sent to a server. That keeps your log private, and it also means the history lives on this one device. The clear-all button, or clearing your browser storage, erases it for good.
